This might seem like an odd title of a post for me--I don't own a microwave. But my husband, Dave, has one at work and its how he warms his lunch. Since we've been married I have always packed a lunch for him to take--most days anyway. The only problem is Dave doesn't care for traditional lunches--no sandwiches. This has always been a thorn in my side considering my love for food stuffed between two pieces of bread. But whatever, I married him. So early on I got creative, I began making my own --preservative free, home cooked microwavable meals. I figure if Lean Cuisine can do it, why can't I?
So I do--its simple and anyone can do it. I make larger portions of most dinners, portion off the leftovers, put them in Tupperware and stack them in the freezer. On any given day I have anywhere between 2 and 6 options for Dave to take to work. Think of the endless possibilities....Stouffer's does....
