I'm on a "staycation" this week. I've got too many family members visiting....all my meals are ridiculously last minute...and not thought out well. They require random people stopping and picking up the "one thing" I don't have.
I know this is how many people shop/cook every week and honestly I don't know how you do it....not having a plan is soooo annoying.

Not having a plan is the norm for me...given I'm not cooking for anyone else, I never know when committees are going to end, and I don't want to waste perfectly good food, I buy day of if I am going to have the time to actually cook a meal. You get used to it - and at least the food is fresh.
