I am going to win this "war" on school lunch (I hope). My home spun lunches are going to be more fun, more creative, and more tasty than Cocoons on a Stick (which would be what the cafeteria lady calls a corn dog).
This is my "Alien Adventure Flying Saucer"

This pizza looks big in the picture, it's sitting on a small plate, but it's just about the size of my palm...maybe a little bigger. It's the perfect size for school lunch. It's my homemade crust....cut perfectly round just like it would be if it came frozen from a store, homemade pizza sauce with tomatoes from the Tomato Fairy, and cheese...not homemade.
My kids loves pizza, and if I have to make these pizza's every flippin' day, I will. Am I a lunatic, or what?? Don't answer that.

Okay, you made me laugh so hard!
Amanda,I think you are going to have great success with your healthy eating classes because you are keeping us all laughing while we are learning. I've found a terrifc DVD from Amazon. It demonstrates healthy lunchbox ideas for kids and shows a bunch of easy ways to present foods so that they are especially appealing to kids. Check it out

I'm glad I make someone besides myself laugh!
Your son is gonna have everyone drooling over his lunch!!!Great job!! what does he think of the pizza??
I'm so glad that you're sharing these thoughts with us!
My prediction is that you've already wielded all sorts of fantastic powers over those crazy cocoon-frying lunch ladies! :) Good luck!
forget the school lunch. lend them to me for one really good fattening meal. I'll have them turned on to lard and bacon fat...they need a little variety so they don't end up going over the edge in college.
