No more. Save your dollars. Don't buy into the marketing....you really can chop and wash your own lettuce. I know you can.
Here's what I do:
1. Chop and rinse (No need to dry)
2. Put into glass or plastic container
3. Place folded paper towel on top and close lid.
4. Store upside down in the refrigerator. Change the paper towel daily.
Your lettuce will last for a week if you don't eat it before.
Lunch to go.....

I know I should do this, I get so sucked in to the bagged lettuce.
I can never resort to buying bagged lettuce. I guess I am just a cheapstake and I really don't like the quality. Also, the bags are so small. I'd have to buy about 5 to make it through the week. I can't see spending about $20 on lettuce!!
... you can hear the amazing sucking sound of the bagged lettuce calling!!
I've got to admit, though -- fresh lettuce is the way to go. We just had a salad last night made with frilly mustard greens and arugula from the farmer's market. And it beat out EVERY bagged salad mix I've ever purchased, hands down!
