These are some of the best cookies I have ever tasted. My mother's recipe, of course (I don't bake). These are easy enough for even me. I baked these today for my neighbors. yum, yum.
Here is the recipe:
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup white flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 cups oatmeal
2 cups choc chips
mix together everything but Chocolate Chips using electric beaters. Fold the chips in after its all mixed together. bake @ 350 10-12 min on ungreased cookie sheet. until lightly browned. For chewy cookies, slightly under bake them.
